Gun For Glory Shooting Academy
Gun for Glory is a world class shooting academy. It is an initiative started by Padmashri Gagan Narang and Shri Pawan Singh to promote shooting sport by blooding young talents at the right time in order to produce newer stars in the shooting firmament. The meticulously designed world class academy is situated at Shiv Chatrapati Sports complex 50m shooting range, Balewadi, Pune. The complex provides world class infrastructure that is required to prepare a shooter to meet the modern day challenges. The academy prides itself in providing all tools to build a champion.
It has brought together a bevy of foreign Coaches, a foreign Grip Maker, Sports Injury Management Team, Physiotherapist, Yoga Guru, Dietician, Masseur, Gun testing facility, utilization of SCATT, video analyzers, Equipment control & Psychologist among other. The customized training plans are designed by our eminent foreign coaches on the basis of SWOT analysis. The courses also offer shooters Gun testing facility (Testing each barrel & select best pellet for particular barrel and maintain availability for 1 year training), peak performance management, a link up with an educational institution and residential tie- up.

Foreign Coach Guidance 100
Gagan Narang is one of the key members of India’s shooting contingent. He is popularly known as ‘The 600 Express’, having shot the World Record score of 600 twice. He was the first Indian shooter to qualify for the London Olympics 2012. And it was his intense desire of giving back to the system that resulted in Gun For Glory coming to life. Gagan won 4 gold medals at the Commonwealth games in 2010 and was in the running for the Best Athlete’s award of CWG. He followed that up with two silvers at the Asian Games. Narang led the Indian contingent at the Commonwealth closing and Asian Games opening ceremonies, last year.
Pawan Singh was a National Level rifle shooter before he transitioned into coaching. Currently he is the Assistant Coach of the Indian shooting team. Pawan also has the experience and expertise in the field of equipment control. He was in the JURY of Equipment Control for Commonwealth Games 2010. He has enormous experience from having worked as an official during the World Military Games, Commonwealth youth games and National Level Competitions. Besides, Pawan also has experience in testing Pellets and Ammunition for Rifles and Pistols.
Pistol shooter Samresh Jung has been the Best Athlete of the Commonwealth games 2006, having won 5 golds, one silver and one bronze. He was dubbed as ‘Goldfinger’ by the game’s volunteers. Samresh is one of India’s best air pistol shooters and has gathered massive shooting experience in over a decade long career.
Consulting Director Ronak is an international pistol champion with over 40 international medals and 50 international competitions under his belt. Apart from over 200 medals at national level, he is the only shooter to be Junior Asian Champion in all pistol events. He has been national champion and record holder multiple times, and was also Gold Medal winner and Record Holder at the Commonwealth Games 2006.
Vaibhav Agashe Mind Trainer Mr. Vaibhav is a performance trainer/mind coach with Olympian athletes in India. He is a certified consultant with American Board of Sport Psychology and has an experience over 8 years. He was the trainer of two medal winning shooters in Olympics and accompanied them to London. Currently he trains a group of talented shooters and archers sponsored by Olympic GOLD Quest for Rio Olympics. Dr. Parag Kantilal Sancheti
