By virtue of consistent performances, Heena Sidhu has now become world No.1 shooter in the 10 M Air Pistol Women Event, according to the recent rankings released by International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF). Heena Sidhu continued her dominating form in ISSF World Cup, USA by winning Silver Medal. This is her third consecutive International victory after winning Gold Medals at ISSF World Cup Finals held at Munich (Germany) in November 2013 and 7th Asian Airgun Championship held at Kuwait in March 2014. At the World Cup Finals, at Munich, 2013, Heena shot a world record score to win the gold medal. Heena Sidhu is the first pistol shooter to achieve top spot in World rankings and is now the 6th Indian Shooter to achieve the top spot in World rankings. Ms. Anjali Bhagwat, Col. R.V.S. Rathore, Gagan Narang, Manavjit Singh Sandhu and Mr. Ronjan Sodhi are the other shooters who achieved this feat earlier.
